Narcotic Wasteland is a technical death metal band, founded by former Nile guitarist and vocalist Dallas Toler-Wade, known for their "explosive sound" and "provocative lyrics" that blend technical skill with raw intensity. Led by Toler-Wade, the band features members Edwin Rhone (guitar/vocals), Joseph Howard (drums/vocals), Kenji Tsunami (bass), and Erik Schultek (drums/engineering). Narcotic Wasteland was created as a personal outlet for Toler-Wade to express themes rooted in real-world chaos, moving from a side project to his full-time focus after leaving Nile.
