Two Toms return home their Milton Keynes motherland to preview their much-anticipated new Edinburgh Fringe shows. Tom Gockelen-Kozlowski's What Bowie Did Next and Tom Skelton's Blind Man's Bluff. These local lads will provide some prodigal son Tomfoolery!
Blind Man's Bluff by Tom Skelton Join visionary character comedy maverick Tom Skelton on a wild gallop through the history of blindness and his own sight loss. The most famous VIPs (Visually Impaired People), from Samson to Stevie Wonder, tell their tales in this blindingly riotous one-man romp. The must-see show of 2017. 'A wonderful narrator' (Times). 'Inventive and very enjoyable' **** (Mirror). 'Undoubtedly funny' (TheWest.com.au). 'An extraordinary performer' (RipitUp.com.au). 'Exceptionally funny, clever and original' (WeekendNotes.com). 'A kaleidoscope of costumes, an inexhaustible array of accents and a delightful skirmish of tongue-in-cheek references' (Young-Perspective.net).
What Bowie Did Next by Tom GK What does David Bowie – one of history’s most widely acclaimed and adored musicians – do when he arrives in heaven? Try to form the greatest band ever, of course. Yet, as he visits fellow icons including Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury and, of course, Lou Reed, the Thin White Duke begins to realise that something very wrong is going on in the afterlife. Come along on this musical comedy adventure as comedian and impressionist Tom Gk brings his second show to the Edinburgh Fringe. 'Spot on' (List). 'Sounds like fun!' (Eddie Mair, BBC Radio 4).
